Seven years. Three mistakes that didn't have to happen.
Buying land was never the hard part. Anyone with the money can do that. The hard part is the three things that nearly broke me: not buying a piece you can't permit, not building a cage you can't leave, and building the layer on top that runs without you. Land on its own is a liability that roots you. Everything that turns it into freedom happens after the purchase. That's what these eight steps are.
Year 1
Bought land I couldn't permit.
I moved on a piece that didn't have the legal framework for what I wanted to build. Put money in, started building, found out later. Years of permitting battles and six figures I never planned for. The most expensive lesson came first.
Year 3
Built a beautiful cage.
The campground was full, the reviews were great, and I couldn't leave. I was the mechanic, the host, the fixer, the everything. Freedom was the whole point of this, and somehow I'd built myself right back out of it.
Year 7
Still doing it alone.
Through all of it there was nobody who'd built what I was building to learn from. No mentor, no peer group, no one who got it. That loneliness was the final trigger. Land Freedom is the peer group I never had.

Start at Step 4. That's where income streams, infrastructure, marketing, and automating yourself out of the day-to-day live. You can still go back through Steps 1 to 3 to fill gaps, or utilize co-work sessions to see what others are working on.

The Academy is the system: eight steps on your own schedule with a community doing it alongside you. The Accelerator adds direct 1-on-1 coaching with me on your specific build. Most Accelerator students go through the Academy first, since it gives you a much stronger foundation going in.

The curriculum is complete, but the investor network, the workstay network, and the office hours format are being shaped right now by the people inside.
