You've Felt The Magic At Camp.

But What If You Built Your Own?

Not just visiting. Actually owning one. A profitable little place in a spot you love, where nomads park around the fire, share meals, and turn strangers into family. They're real, they run on systems that already work, and the network is looking to grow.

I'm Aidan. I built Van Life Campgrounds.
This is the other half of what I do.

You came over to Land Freedom from the VLC site, so quick context before we get rolling. VLC is the real network of campgrounds, the thing I actually built. Land Freedom is where I teach people to find, fund, and build their own land dream. The two go in order: Land Freedom is how you build the place, VLC is the automation layer you plug in on top once it's built.

UH, WHY AM I ON LAND FREEDOM?

WHAT EVEN IS A VLC?

Three things you already know, remixed into one you don't.

Take the shared amenities and weekly activities of a hostel. Add the communal clubhouse of an RV park. Drop the whole thing on the remote, beautiful land of a campground. None of those pieces is new on its own. The combination is, and that remix is the reason a VLC feels different the second you pull in.

Underneath the vibe, four things make that remix actually work. Every location, VLC owned or partnered, is built on all four.

Van Life Community - Joshua Tree, CA

03

Weekly programming

Dinners, skill shares, game nights. The structured moments that turn a row of strangers into regulars who come back.

04

Intimate by design

20 rigs max. We're not an RV park, we’re skooliepalooza. The size cap is the thing that keeps it feeling like a friend group not an event.

02

On-site presence

An owner or host always on the land, keeping the vibe alive and bringing folks together. No host, no VLC. This one matters more than people expect.

01

Circular design

Communal hub at the center, rigs parked around it. Community doesn't happen by accident, you design it with every choice.

YOU SAID VLCS WERE PROFITABLE?

A Piece Of Land That Funds Your Life. Not The Other Way Around.

$10k

Per Month

Most people treat freedom like a cost. You save it up, you spend it, you go back to work to refill. Land flips that. A working VLC is an asset you own, in a place you love, that builds wealth and community at the same time. The campground was never the point. The life it pays for is.

What a small, well-run, community-first location in a desirable area can gross in season. A strong month at a strong location, not a promise for every spot.

OK, SO WHAT’S THE CATCH?

I’ve Always Said “Vanlife is the gateway drug to homesteading”.

Here's what nobody tells you on the way in.

You know the pattern. Nomads give up the van for land. It's the next stage, and almost everyone feels the pull eventually. But here's the honest part nobody says out loud: land roots you. It doesn't move when you want to move. It eats your attention. You trade the most freedom you'll ever have for an anchor. And buying the dirt is the easy part. Anyone with the money can buy an acre. The hard problem is freeing yourself again from a thing that doesn't move and demands your attention.

That's the problem I actually spent seven years solving, and the answer was never the land itself. The freedom comes from what you build on top of it: the systems, the hosting, the programming, the marketing, knowing how to find the people and get the thing built right so it can eventually run without you standing on it. That is what Land Freedom teaches. Not how to buy dirt. How to turn dirt into something that sets you free instead of trapping you.

Then, once it's built and proven, VLC plugs in on top.

VLC is the automation layer you bolt onto a place you've already built. It's the stuff a course on its own can't hand you, earned once your spot is real and the fit is proven:

  • Trained and vetted camphosts provided for you, so the place runs without you on it.

  • Our operating system and booking rails, so the back end runs itself.

  • The audience and the marketing machine, so the bookings keep coming while you're three states away.

  • The programming and content engine, so the community keeps happening whether you're there or not.

You can't apply your way to that on day one. You build your way to it. The building is Land Freedom. The automation layer on top is what you earn at the end.

So be honest with yourself, because I'd rather tell you everything that's hard than waste either of our time on a lie. Maybe that's exactly the trade you want. Or maybe VLC just woke something up in you, and your version looks different, your own crowd, your own pace, the parts you love and none of the parts you don't. Both are real answers. The worst move is buying an acre before you know which. That's what the free workshop is for.
